It's okay

"Good: Looks nice. 1060 steel is better than most commercial damascus swords. Nice leather fittings, nice lacquer finish on sheath. Bad: Looking at the blade from handle to tip, you can see that the grinding is slightly uneven, typical of stamped damascus. United Steel tagline stamped very prominently on the blade, and is cut deeper into the blade than I like. Balance is a little too far forward - if you have the tools, put on a heavier pommel. Also, doesn't come very sharp out of the box, and sharpening a full sized sword is not an easy task. Other: Very small tsuba guard."

Very awesome sword

"A very nice sword. Only complaint I have is like the last costumer. The leather binding around the scabbard threatens to unwind. It's almost annoying enough to just take off and display the beautiful wood underneath. But I must say, over all, I am very pleased."

Excellent, minor problem

"Incredible sword, very high-quality. Seems very durable. My only complaint is that the leather wrap on the scabbard is a bit loose - it isn't threatening to come off, but it's somewhat annoying."

Rurousha Katana

"I am very happy with my Katana, so happy that I bought the Wakizashi and Tanto to match. I have absolutely no complaints. I don't think you could get better swords for twice the money. Highly recommended."
